Loi 25

Privacy policy

This site collects personal information in one place: the form for requesting a call. It asks for your name, a phone number or an email address, what you need, and optionally a message. It does not ask for income, the price of the property, or your credit history. Outside that form there are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers: the single technical cookie stores your language preference.

Your request is used for one thing: so that a mortgage broker calls you and reviews your file. Beside the form, before you type anything, the notice states what the information is used for, who it is passed to, and how to ask for access, correction or the withdrawal of your consent. Consent to pass your request on is a separate, unticked box, and it is never bundled into the send button.

Carrying and storing the request involves technical providers located outside Quebec: the email notice is sent by Postmark (United States). The site's hosting and the register where the request is kept will be named here as soon as they are decided.

This page is not yet the complete policy Quebec's Law 25 requires: the exact retention period, the governance document, the contact details of the person responsible for the protection of personal information, and the legal entity that signs the agreements with those providers are all still missing. Those are pending decisions and we are not inventing them here; while they are missing, this site is not published.

Person responsible for the protection of personal information: Anthony King

This page will be updated once the retention period and the responsible person's contact details are set.
